Prayer for the Feast of the Assumption:
Mary has been taken up to heaven. The Angels rejoice; they bless the Lord and sing His praises.
Let us pray: Almighty and everlasting God, who have taken the Immaculate Virgin Mary, the Mother of Your Son, with body and soul into heavenly glory, grant that intent on higher things, we may always deserve to be partakers of her glory. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever. Amen
