God's ways and ours are so very different

Prayer for Peace: O God, from whom are holy desires, right counsels and just works, give to Your servants that peace which the world cannot give, that both our hearts may be disposed to obey Your commandments and also, the fear of enemies being removed, our times, by Your protection, may be peaceful. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.

St. Mary Mackillop, pray for us.

Let us love and praise God in all

The Gloria Patri: Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

We may feel our crosses hard at time, but our courage should rise with them

Trust Him when dark doubts assail you. Trust Him when your strength is small. Trust Him when to simply trust Him seems the hardest thing of all.

Trust Him, He is ever faithful. Trust Him for His will is best. Trust Him, for the Heart of Jesus is the only place of rest.

Trust Him, then, through gloom and sunshine. All your cares upon Him cast. ‘Til the storm of life is over and your trusting days are past.

St. Mary Mackillop, pray for us.

God is stronger than the world which opposes God's teachings

Dedication of Oneself:

Jesus, in Your passion, I see You covered with the wounds of Your scourging, crowned with thorns, Your feet and hands pierced with nails, your side opened by the spear. I adore You and acknowledge You as my Saviour and my Lord.

Grieved at the sight of the Blood which flowed from your wounds for my redemption, I desire to dedicate myself to the worship of Your life-giving Blood and to atone by an exemplary life for all the insults that you suffer every day in the Holy Sacrament of the Altar. I desire to pay frequent homage to Your Precious Blood and to spread this devotion.

I want every beat of my heart to be a renewal of this dedication, an act of gratitude and love towards Your Redeeming Blood, a perpetual offering of its merits in favour of sinners and of all those dear to me. May this act of dedication be an expression of the praise of the elect in heaven: “To the Lamb who redeemed us by His Blood be honour, glory and benediction forever.” Amen.

St. Mary Mackillop, pray for us.

My heart would sink but for the firm conviction that God's word can never fail

Prayer for Perseverance: Lord God, Father of all, You have enriched with special graces that state of life to which You have appointed each of Your children. You have promised to be with us in the fulfilment of the duties resting upon us. We pray that You will give us Your abundant blessings so that we may courageously live in Your grace, persevering in it until we attain, through Your loving mercy, the crown of eternal life. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

St. Mary Mackillop, pray for us.

Let us try to keep God with us by charity in thought, word and act

Our Daily Offering: Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer You my prayers, works, joys and sufferings of this day in union with the Holy sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world. I offer them for all the intentions of Your Sacred Heart, the salvation of souls, reparation for sins, the reunion of all Christians. I offer them for the intentions of our Bishops, and of all Apostles of Prayer, and in particular for those recommended by our Holy Father this month. Amen.

St. Mary Mackillop, pray for us.

God will carry you safely through every struggle

A Prayer to Our Mother of Sorrows: Mary, Mother of Sorrows, I beseech you, by the bitter agony which you endured at the foot of the cross, offer to the Eternal Father on my behalf, your beloved Son Jesus, all covered with His most Precious Blood and Wounds, in satisfaction for my sins, for the needs of Holy Church, for the conversion of sinners, the relief of souls in purgatory ad for the special grace I now implore. Amen.

St. Mary Mackillop, pray for us.

God loves us all

Spiritual Communion (can be made at any time, in any place, using your own aspirations): My Jesus, I believe that You are really present in the Blessed Sacrament. I love You and I long for You with all my being. Since I cannot now receive You sacramentally, come spiritually into my heart. I adore You and unite myself to You. Never let me be separated from You. Amen. (St. Alphonsus Liguori)

O Sacrament most holy, o sacrament Divine, all praise and all thanksgiving be every moment thine.

St. Mary Mackillop, pray for us.

Try at least to excuse what you cannot understand

Let us Pray:

Hail Mary full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen

Help one another, bear with one another as God bears with each of us

Prayer of Thanksgiving: O glorious and immaculate Virgin, I raise my humble pleading to your throne and from experience learned that you have never been invoked in vain. I have come to thank you most sincerely for the grace granted me by God through your intercession.

How can I repay you for such a sign of your love and mercy? May I proclaim your glory and maternal care by spreading ardent devotions to you. And in testimony for my gratitude, I will not cease to pray to you so that I may carry out my obligations to God, to myself, my family and my neighbours. Amen

St. Mary Mackillop, pray for us.

To lack courage shows want of confidence in God and weak faith

Offering of All the Masses throughout the World: Eternal Father, I offer You the Precious Blood of Your beloved Son, Jesus, in union with every Mass that is being offered this day throughout the world. Accept the sacrifice of Your Son, and Father, grant me all I need to live and die in Your grace. Amen

Pray that God may direct and that St. Joseph's humble spirit may guide

Memorare to St. Joseph: Remember Oh amiable and powerful protector, St. Joseph, that according to the testimony of your devoted servant, St. Teresa, no one ever implored your intercession with devotion and confidence without obtaining relief. Animated by this consoling hope I come to you, worthy spouse of the Virgin, and at your feet I seek refuge and protection.
By the honour which was yours in bearing the glorious title of Father of Jesus, I ask you to receive my humble prayer. Hear it favourable and present it for me to Him who accepted to be called your Son, and who will not refuse your petition.
St. Joseph, chaste spouse of the Mother of God, foster father of her adorable Son, guardian, confidant and imitator of both, in virtue of these special privileges and of the power granted to you on earth and in heaven, I beseech you obtain for me a heart resembling yours in its silence, in its meekness, in its humility, in its charity, in its obedience and in its chastity. Watch over me, assist me every day of my life and obtain for me the great grace to die like you in the arms of Jesus and Mary. Amen

Act of Charity: Oh my God, infinite in every perfection and worthy of all my love, I love You with my whole heart and I love my neighbour as myself, for love of You.
